Level 2 : Jr. class & Sr.

We studied about six substances.
According to Jain Religion, God has not created universe. Universe has always been there and will be there. Our universe is made of 6 Substasnces.
1. Jiva - Leaving being
2.Matter - Pudgal
3. Space - Akash
4. Medium of Motion - Dharmastikaya
5. Medium of Rest - Adharmastikaya
6. Time - Kaal or Samay
In Jiva we learned Liberated souls (Mukta Jiva) and Unliberated souls (Worldly or Sansari Jiva)
We also learned about Immobile ( Sthavar Jiva) and Mobile Jiva (Traskaya Jiva)
Under Sthavar Jiva we learned about Pruthivi Kaya, Upkaya, Teukaya, Vayukaya and Vanaspati kaya. Vanaspati kaya further devided into two kind. Sadharan Vanaspati Kaya (also known as kandamul) and Pratyek Vanaspati Kaya.
All the students enjoyed learning in the discussion form where they can share their views. We share in the class our experience related to the topic and discuss that as a group. We will continue this topic in the next class.
